Planning Permission granted for extensive wind farm on Shetland
Planning Permission has been given to a very large scale wind farm development on Shetland, said to bring around £30m annual income to the community.
The wind farm is so large, that the Planning Permission also includes for an inter-connector to Scottish mainland so that electricity can be exported!
